Gemma – Puremess
We were instantly bowled over not only by the quality of Gemma’s award-winning skincare products, but the inspiring story behind them. After a second breast cancer diagnosis in 2015, Gemma decided to use her scientific background to start formulating her own non-toxic products from high quality, natural ingredients. Her hope is to encourage others to adopt a more natural, simple life.

It’s also a bonus for us that Puremess HQ is just a stone’s-throw away from us in Guildford.
Paul & Rina – SESI Refills
SESI were one of the first suppliers we chose; we were so impressed with their answers to all of our questions about their refillable household products, their operations and values. They have been pioneering the circular economy model for over a decade now and are always innovating – from using gravity to power their warehouse dispensers, to adding food and body products to their range.

Based in Oxford, they also keep their heart as a family-run social enterprise rooted in their local community.
The Clever Cactus/ OceanStitch
We first fell in love with the Clever Cactus oh-so-comfy reusable sanitary pads in fun, colourful prints. When Steph started her business she set out to create a range of eco-products with personality.

Edit: Steph very sadly passed away in 2021, but we are pleased to be able to continue her legacy and stock the pads she designed, which are now made and supplied by sister company OceanStitch.
